Thai Lion Air History
Thai Lion Air is a low-cost airline operating in association with Lion Air of Indonesia. Its first flight was in December, 2013 from Bangkok to Chieng Mai. The carrier has 11 aircraft and operates the Boeing 737 from Bangkok's Don Muang Airport. By using only one aircraft type, the airline can reduce training and maintenance costs. Thai Lion Air flies to domestic and international destinations across the Asia-Pacific region.
